Before and after examples

Each pair is one car photo and the same photo after one Modification Goals request, sent to the image model that Custom Vision uses but with more processing steps than the live tool default, so your own render may be rougher. The full request text sits under each pair.

BeforeAI-drawn sample: a yellow generic sports coupe stand-in on silver multi-spoke wheels parked on a city street beside a brick building
AfterAI-drawn sample: the same yellow coupe on gloss black wheels
Yellow generic sports coupe stand-in. Modification Goals: "Change ONLY the wheels: replace the silver wheels with gloss black five-spoke wheels; keep the yellow paint, tires, headlights, bumper, street, buildings and the camera angle exactly the same". Followed: both visible wheels are now gloss black, and the paint, tires, headlights, bumper, street and buildings look the same. Not followed: the wheels still have many thin spokes, not five. The yellow brake caliper behind the front wheel is still visible. Extra changes: none that we could see.
BeforeAI-drawn sample: a white generic sports coupe stand-in on silver multi-spoke wheels parked on a paved lot with trees behind
AfterAI-drawn sample: the same white coupe on bronze-colored wheels
White generic sports coupe stand-in. Modification Goals: "Change ONLY the wheels: replace the silver wheels with satin bronze five-spoke wheels; keep the white paint, tires, headlights, bumper, pavement, trees and the camera angle exactly the same". Followed: both visible wheels are now bronze, and the paint, tires, headlights, bumper, pavement and trees look the same. Partly followed: the color reads as copper-brown rather than dark bronze, and the wheels kept a twin-spoke design instead of five spokes. The red caliper behind the front wheel is still visible but looks darker and duller than before. Extra changes: none other that we could see.
BeforeAI-drawn sample: a dark gray generic sports coupe stand-in on black multi-spoke wheels parked outside a modern glass building
AfterAI-drawn sample: the same gray coupe on polished silver wheels
Dark gray generic sports coupe stand-in. Modification Goals: "Change ONLY the wheels: replace the black wheels with polished silver wheels; keep the gray paint, tires, headlights, bumper, building and the camera angle exactly the same". Followed: both visible wheels are now polished silver, and the paint, headlights, bumper and building look the same. Extra changes: the spoke pattern looks a little different from the original, the front tire sidewall looks paler near the rim, and the yellow caliper behind the front wheel is now dull olive and mostly hidden.

All before and after images are AI-drawn samples from our own image model, not photos of real Corvettes or customer cars. The cars are generic sports coupe stand-ins; they are not Corvette-shaped and a real Corvette will look different. Small unreadable marks appear on the hood and wheel centers; they are AI artifacts, not brand logos. Under each pair we list which parts of the request worked, which did not, and any change we never asked for.

Try wheel finishes on your own Corvette

A configurator shows a new car in its factory colors and wheels. Your Corvette has its own paint, its own stance and its own tires. WheelAI redraws your photo with the wheel finish you describe, so you can compare gloss black with bronze or polished silver on the same car before you pay for wheels or a refinish.

Chevrolet and Corvette are trademarks of their owner. WheelAI is not affiliated with or endorsed by Chevrolet, no Chevrolet logos are used here, and the example cars below are AI-drawn generic sports coupes, not real Corvettes.

How to preview wheels on a Corvette

There is no special Corvette mode. The Modifications tool edits any car, and its Custom Vision mode takes your own wording.

  1. 1

    Take the photo

Stand at a front corner in daylight and make sure both visible wheels and the full side of the car are in the frame.

  2. 2

    Open the Modifications tool

Upload your photo and switch to Custom Vision.

  3. 3

Write the change and what stays

In the Modification Goals box, say what changes (for example the wheel finish) and list what must stay the same: paint, tires, headlights, background and camera angle.

  4. 4

    Compare and refine

Look at the result next to your original. If one part is wrong, ask for that part alone in the next run.

Wheel finishes that suit a sports coupe

Gloss or satin black

Black wheels show off bright paint colors such as yellow or red and keep the focus on the body.

Bronze or gold

Bronze looks warm on white, gray and black cars. In our example it read closer to copper than to dark bronze, so name the shade you want.

Polished or machined silver

A bright finish looks close to a factory wheel on a dark car and brings out the wheel design.

Brake calipers

Calipers show through the spokes, and the Brake Caliper Color Visualizer on this site covers them. In our examples the calipers stayed in the picture, but on two of three they came out duller or mostly hidden behind the spokes.

A look, not a fitment check

The render shows whether you like a look. It knows nothing about offset, tire size, load rating, brake clearance or whether a wheel is made for your generation, and it shows no real brand products or prices. Ask a wheel shop to confirm anything you plan to buy.

Photo tips

  • Use daylight and avoid harsh reflections on the paint.
  • Hold the camera at about headlight height.
  • Keep the front wheels pointing straight ahead.
  • Leave space around the car in the frame.
  • Use the same photo for every finish so the comparisons are fair.

Three Modification Goals to paste

We used these requests for the examples. Copy one into Modification Goals, swap the colors and background words for your own, and delete anything that does not apply.

  • Change ONLY the wheels: replace the silver wheels with gloss black five-spoke wheels; keep the yellow paint, tires, headlights, bumper, street, buildings and the camera angle exactly the same
  • Change ONLY the wheels: replace the silver wheels with satin bronze five-spoke wheels; keep the white paint, tires, headlights, bumper, pavement, trees and the camera angle exactly the same
  • Change ONLY the wheels: replace the black wheels with polished silver wheels; keep the gray paint, tires, headlights, bumper, building and the camera angle exactly the same

What the AI does well and where it slips

Wheel finishes usually come out well and the rest of the photo mostly stays put. Spoke count and exact shades are less reliable, and small marks such as center caps and crests are redrawn as unreadable shapes. If a render misses, rerun it with shorter, plainer wording.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free Corvette wheel visualizer that uses my own photo?

Yes. Sign in with email or Google, upload a photo of your car, and describe the wheel finish you want in the Modification Goals box. Most new accounts get 5 free credits that last 30 days, and a standard render uses 1 credit. Free renders carry a WheelAI watermark. It edits your own picture, so it shows your paint and your angle rather than a stock car.

Is this the official Chevrolet Corvette visualizer?

No. Chevrolet offers its own tool for building a new Corvette from factory trims, colors and wheel options. WheelAI is separate: it has no factory options list, it works on a photo of the car you already have, and it can show finishes and looks that are not on a factory list. Neither tool tells you what fits or costs.

Which wheel finishes can I try?

Any finish you can describe: gloss or satin black, bronze, gold, polished silver, gunmetal, machined or white. Our examples use gloss black, satin bronze and polished silver on stand-in sports coupes. Name the finish and the spoke style, because a bare "new wheels" request leaves the AI free to choose.

Will the wheels in the render fit my Corvette?

The render cannot say. A picture knows nothing about bolt pattern, offset, hub bore, tire size, load rating or brake clearance, and a wheel that looks right can still be wrong for your generation or trim. Ask a wheel shop or a Corvette specialist to confirm fitment before you order.

Does it follow the spoke style I ask for?

Not always. When we asked for five-spoke wheels, the render kept a multi-spoke design on two of our three examples. Finish and color are much more reliable than spoke count. If the spoke style matters to you, compare the render with real wheels from a shop.

Does it work on every Corvette generation?

It edits the car in your photo and never asks for a model or year, so it should work on any coupe or convertible. Our examples are AI-drawn generic sports coupes, not real Corvette photos, so we have not tested a specific generation. A sharp daylight photo of the whole car matters more than the badge.

What if the AI changes something I did not ask for?

It can. The image model redraws the whole photo. In our examples the paint, body and background stayed the same, but spoke patterns, tire sidewalls and caliper colors shifted slightly on some, and tiny marks such as center caps and the hood crest are redrawn as unreadable marks. Write what must stay the same, compare the result with your original, and rerun if a part drifted.

Is WheelAI affiliated with Chevrolet or General Motors?

No. Chevrolet and Corvette are trademarks of their owner. WheelAI is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Chevrolet or General Motors. The names appear here only to say which car this page is about, and no logos are used.

Ready to plan your Corvette wheels?

Compare a few wheel finishes on one photo, then bring your favorite to a wheel shop to confirm it fits and what it costs.
